What insurances does Rebound accept?
It is easier to answer this question by telling you what is not in-network with Rebound. The main policies we do not accept (these are not in-network) are: Medicaid (unless it is secondary to Medicare), Kaiser, Poudre Valley Hospital insurance or UC Denver Health insurance, Aetna, and Banner. However, we often see patients with these policies and either bill them as out of network or the patient chooses our self-pay options. Please keep in mind that this list is NOT exhaustive, and we are obligated to remind you that you are ultimately responsible for knowing your policy and whether or not you are in-network. You can always call the member services phone number on your insurance card and find out more details. That being said, if you have further questions about how much your copay might be, we are more than happy to call and verify your benefits before you come in for your first appointment! Call (970)663-6142 to schedule or, to speak with our friendly billing department, dial extension 3. They are happy to help!
Do I need a physician referral to come in for Physical Therapy?
The answer to this question depends on your insurance policy. The ultimate answer is no, if you are willing to agree to self-pay rates, anyone can come in for physical therapy! You can read about this revolutionary Direct Access to PT movement on our blog by clicking here. Some insurances will cover PT without a referral as well. If you’re not sure about your policy, call the member services number on your insurance card to find out.
What is the cost of Physical Therapy at Rebound?
The cost for each individual varies depending on your insurance policy. If you choose not to go through insurance, our Self-Pay rate is $150 for the Initial Examination and $80 per follow-up. If you are curious what your benefits are through insurance, call the member services phone number on your insurance card and ask about physical therapy coverage OR contact our billing department and they can verify your benefits before your first visit. We also offer a consultation appointment for $40 where you can meet with one of our Physical Therapists for 20 – 30 minutes to help determine if Physical Therapy is right for you. Call us at (970)663-6142 for more information.
What should I wear to my appointment?
This is not a silly question! We recommend you wear comfortable clothing, preferably something that is flexible as you may or may not be doing exercises during your appointment. If you come in a rush or forget, don’t worry! We have athletic shorts on hand to provide you with an extra option if needed.
How many visits will I need to come in for?
Our experienced Physical Therapists will give you a treatment plan tailored to your case, your body’s reaction to treatment, and the severity of your injury, so this is difficult to correctly answer until you have had your first appointment. After your Initial Evaluation (your first appointment) your PT will have a better idea of where you are at and will discuss with you how often and for how long you need to come back and see us to reach your goals.
