Attention Golf Coaches! In Colorado State University’s million-dollar indoor/outdoor golf facility located at Harmony Club in Timnath we will be starting our Fourth Annual winter program for junior golfers called Operation Championship Golf (OCG). This program is the most comprehensive golf improvement program offered in Colorado conducted from 9am-12noon on two Saturdays January 5th & 12th and two Sundays January 6th & 13th, 2013 for 11-17year old students. Afternoon sessions from 1-4pm each day are available also.
Students registering for OCG four-day camp will receive skills evaluation in all areas, digital video instruction in addition to personalized physical strength & conditioning evaluation. By using our $30,000 launch monitor we can give students information about personalized distances for each golf club and other vital statistical information. Individualized goal setting, rules education, exercise program and game improvement prescriptions in all areas will be given to each participant. In our classroom sessions we will discuss many of the mental aspects of the game and teach our students how to integrate these into their game.
The OCG administrative staff is comprised of personnel that work with the Colorado State University Golf teams, PGA Director of Instruction, Stan Fenn from Harmony Club, owner and licensed physical therapist /trainer from Rebound Sports & Physical Therapy, Brad Ott designed the unique program.
The mission statement for OCG is to assist coaches in developing the most proficient golfers prepared to win at the Championship level throughout their middle school, high school and college careers. This special program is limited to the first 12 students from 11-17 years old who register for each session.
